Anneyonghaseyo ARMYs. Today we’ll talk about 2013 the year we all love💜 and know about BTS’s very first single album and the the songs included in it. Let’s beginnnnn!!
Oh! Have you guys watched Dynamite???? Oh my Godddd!! I mean I was just speechless. I mean those retro vibes ufff. The choreography everything was just DYNAMITE. “SHINING THROUGH THE CITY WITH A LITTLE FUNK AND SOUL. SO IMMA LIGHT IT UP LIKE DYNAMITE” sorry but I can’t control myself. I’m sure you also can’t. Okay now let’s start with our blog.
BTS debuted on June 12, 2013 with their single album “2 Cool 4 Skool”. It was promoted by two single “No More Dream” and “We Are Bulletproof pt.2”.
First let’s know about the album. In their debut single album BTS talks about their personal experiences and feelings and sings about their youth and their dreams which listeners can relate to. The album includes a CD(it contains all the 7 songs and the 2 hidden tracks), a 24 – spread photobook and a HipHop Monster postcard. And Polaroids (It is not available for later copies) ARMYs who were lucky to buy the first 200 prints of the album received Polaroids and it was inserted randomly. It is now a rare merchandise.

Okay now let’s see the tracks that were included in this album
- Intro: 2 Cool 4 Skool (ft. DJ Friz)
- We Are Bulletproof pt.2
- Skit: Circle Room Talk
- No More Dream
- Interlude
- I like It
- Outro: Circle Room Cypher. Their are two more hidden tracks and they are:
- Skit: On the start line
- Path
Okayyy, time to talk about the songs. We’ll go in order.
Intro: 2 Cool 4 Skool (ft. DJ Friz)
In this intro there was a line said by RM which was “Easier for us to speak on behalf of teens and those in their 20s, you take that” and this line suits their first single album very well. It showed basically what Bangtan is all about. And they do always spread positivity and their songs are relatable and help all of us and we know that right?💜
We Are Bulletproof Pt-2
This song is a part 2 to their pre-debut (we are bulletproof). In this song the young defiant BTS members speaks up against those people who did not believed them and were constantly pulling them down. They talked about them being a trainee, practising, when others were partying they gave up their sleep for their dreams and how their limits were broken but now they are bulletproof and they are hard and have no fear.
Skit: Circle Room Talk
In this skit we can see that the boys are in a school room setting and that after the bell rang they had to go to the class but they were skipping class so that they can have a conversation about what they were doing before pursuing music, what inspired them and what their dreams were back then. Suga and RM also mentioned Epik High as their inspiration and that they started producing songs and rapping right after hearing Fly. We also came to know that our V played Saxophone for 3years. At the end a teacher comes and scolds them for skipping class and they reluctantly went to class.
No More Dream
No More Dream is so relatable to so many ARMYs & that is because this song is about the youngsters without dreams and is indecisive about their plans for the future. It asks the youth to take care of themselves and to ask themselves if they have ever worked hard for anything and to have dreams. It talks about the youth who goes to school and study hard because it is what is expected from them by their parents and the society but the truth is it is not what they want for themselves.
Interlude
It’s an instrumental interlude.
I Like It
This song is also very relatable. In this song a guy still has feelings for his ex-girlfriend and founds himself continuously liking her pictures on Social Networking Sites (and that is why the name I like It). He constantly finds himself thinking of how she’s coping without him. This song is very simple but the members wrote very beautiful lyrics with an emotional depth.
Outro: Circle Room Cypher
This one was also a skit and it was the most funny skit yeah it is. In this all the members did their own little raps on a beat and it was veryyyyyyy cute and funny trust me it is😂💜. And at the end J-Hope was telling Jimin to migrate because he’s one started well but it did not ended well and it was funny how he ended it. Everyone was good as usual💜.
Okay now let’s know the two hidden tracks. The two hidden tracks as I mentioned above are Skit: On The Start Line and Path
Skit: On The Start Line
This isn’t actually a song. We can hear a piano instrumental in the background and it shows that RM is honestly sharing with us how his life was as a trainee. He tells us about the identity crisis he faced and his biggest concerns he had living as a trainee because of the questions he was constantly asked but he didn’t have any answers to them. He said he came here through a certain confidence & belief in himself but the reality was different. He also admits that after 3 years he occasionally had gained the confidence to think things like once he debuted he would “conquer the music industry” ( he did it!💜) But his confidence was always shattered and short-lived as it could not withstand the criticisms of producers and teachers. He ended with a tone of acceptance and he acknowledged that his years as a trainee had actually made him the person he is, giving him strength to overcome any future battles.
Path
This is the second hidden track in which the boys talk about their feelings during the time when they had steeped onto the path of a career in music. The vocal line sang the hook in which they spoke about their situations would currently be if they hadn’t taken this path. The rapper line tells us of the sacrifices, insecurities they faced as they stepped on the path towards their dreams.

Okayyy, Jungkook’s birthday is just in few hours and I’m really excited 😭😭. I’m sure you all are also excited and happy equally. And BTS also won all four awards they were nominated for at the MTV VMAs (Best Group, Best Pop, Best K-pop, Best Choreography)💜💜💜💜 yayyyyyyy I was sooooo happy hearing this. Like my morning was good like after I heard the news and watched their performance. And their IONIQ: I’M ON IT was also really good. I stills can’t believe that it is for a commercial. Okay that’s it for today
