MEMBERS OF BTS

Okay! So now let’s learn about the members of BTS. Also to know them better & avoid any confusion lets progress by knowing two members each. As you know BTS has seven members: Kim Nam Joon(RM), Kim Seok Jin(Jin), Min Yoong Gi(Suga), Jung Ho Seok(J-Hope), Park Jimin(Jimin), Kim Tae Hyung(V) and Jeon Jung-Kook [RR: Jeon Jeongguk](Jungkook).

BTS’s fanbase, ARMY have this fanchant: Kim Namjoon, Kim SeokJin, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung, Jeon Jungkook. So we’re gonna follow the fanchant and know about them. Let’s beginnnn!! Okay before starting I want you’ll to know that I’m gonna mention their Korean age so don’t get confused.

KIM NAM JOON

Let’s start with Kim Nam Joon, the leader of BTS. He was born on September 12, 1994 in Dongjakgu, Seoul and grown up in IIsan-gu, South Korea. His age is 26 and he’ll turn 27 on September 12 2020. He is better known as RM(formerly Rap Monster). He is also sometimes called the God Of Destruction by the other members. He was the first person picked for BTS’ lineup by their entertainment company, Big Hit Entertainment. He is the leader and rapper in the South Korean boy group BTS and also a Song Writer and record producer. He learned English through watching Friends with his mother. At the age of 11, RM became interested in hip-hop music after hearing Epik High’s “Fly” in fifth grade. Later his interest grew into the genre lyricism, printing lyrics he felt cool after an introduction to Eminem by his school teacher. RM began rapping in 2007 and recorded his first self-composed recording for the first time using the program Abode Audition (then called Cool Edit).

In 2009, RM auditioned for Big Deal Records passing the round but failed in the second round as he forgot all his lyrics. But, after following the audition rapper Sleepy exchanged information with RM, who he later mentioned to Big Hit Entertainment producer Pdogg. In 2010, Sleepy contacted RM and encouraged him to audition for Big Hit. Bang Si-hyuk the CEO of Big Hit offered Rm a spot at the record label. The interaction caused Bang and Pdogg to start production of a hip-hop group, which eventually became idol group BTS. RM joined Big Hit Entertainment shortly after at the age of 16. He was the first member to join BTS and is the fourth oldest member of BTS

KIM SEOK JIN

Kim Seok Jin who is our World Wide Handsome was born on December 4,1992 in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi province, South Korea. His age is 28 and he’ll turn 29 this year 2020.

Jin was originally scouted by SM Entertainment (the same company that manages EXO) on the street of his hometown Anyang. As he thought that the offer was a scam he never followed up with the company. He was scouted again and this time by Big Hit Entertainment while he was a college student. A scout for Big Hit saw Jin leaving a bus and convinced him to audition for the company. As Jin was a theatre major and had no singing or dancing experience he auditioned to be an actor. But Big Hit Entertainment convinced him to become a trainee for BTS. And now he is one of the band’s Sub-Vocals. He is the oldest member of BTS. Also he was the fourth member to join BTS.
